Who we are

Racer First ("we", "us") runs this website and is the controller of the personal data described below. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at racerfirstuk@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• Your email address, when you join our early access list. We use it only to email you about the Racer First launch and related updates. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by signing up.
• Technical information such as your IP address and browser details, which are processed when you visit the site and when you submit the sign-up form, so that the site can be delivered and protected against spam and abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that protect it:

• MailerLite stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides Turnstile, which checks that sign-ups come from real people rather than bots.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts used on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for our launch communications. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies to keep the site secure and to run the bot check on our sign-up form.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
